Are Valve Emulators worthwhile?
From the Racetech website: Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators make damping rod forks perform like well-tuned cartridge forks. Emulators are tunable valves that sit on top of the damping rods and are held in place with the main springs. This makes them both simple to install and completely tunable for all conditions and rider preferences. Part number is FEGV S3501 . Make sure you get that exact part number, as some other applications have very similar numbers. FEGV parts are for dirt bikes. FEGV S are for street bikes. Race Tech may be exaggerating just a bit on the ease of installation, but once they are in, it's pretty easy to take them out for adjustments. See Installing emulators and springs for more on this.
