Let's just say you're a lightweight when it comes to working on the bike and dislike removing the fairing, since it's always tricky to get it back on right. But, at some point, you're going to have to take it off. And then you might want to put it back on. To do that, you might want to fix that perpetual Ninja 250 problem - broken tabs where the top fairing screws into the bottom fairing.

Experiential note from funkshn

Motorcycle Consumer News (IMO the very best motorcycle mag) recently touted a product called Plast-Aid for this kind of repair. This was my first time trying it, and I was amazed. I repaired broken front tabs on both the right and left side of the upper fairing. Within half an hour the bond was strong enough so that I could pick up the fairing by holding just the (previously broken) tab. Amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this product.
