Proper posting, or "Why did I get flamed?"

From Ninja250Wiki

There is a big difference between someone who is a user and someone who is appreciative. If all someone wants to do is use this as their personal service center, then they can get lost. If you are around and want to learn and treat this place with respect, then people will bend over backwards to help you. Being stuck with a problem isn't a problem - we work together and solve it... being a user, on the other hand, is a problem.

Try it out - respond to these posters...

Poster #1: hay I jst got 250 an' I went 2 m8k it wheelie tell me how 2 put a bigger motor in it. ( Typing like that will make most members ignore you, at best.)

Poster #2: Hey I just got a 250 and I want to make it faster - can I put a 500 in it?

Poster #3: Hey guys - I was looking at the 250 and the 500 side by side... they look similar and the engine looks the same size. Would it be possible to put the 500 into the 250 frame? I wonder if the frame would be able to handle the extra power? Just wondering.

Poster #4: I was thinking about putting a 500cc engine into the 250. I checked the FAQ and it said I couldn't. I did a search and found an old post about Leon doing some swaps - anything new with that project? I'd be interested in trying it myself if it worked.

Poster #5: I thought about putting the 250 into the 500 frame - but then when I searched and read the faq I realized that if I did it, it would cost a lot, the frame might not be good enough, and that I'd be better off just buying an early 600 or a newer 500. Jeesh - good thing you guys are here. I think I'll ride my 250 for a few years and then maybe find something different.

OK: #2 is barely acceptable and #5 is probably wishful thinking, but you get the idea. Think of this site as a library, and not an information booth, and everyone will be happily riding on their way.
